Career Talk: Bursting with startups
Eric Huang received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering at UT-Austin. After he graduated from UT-Austin, he moved to Dartmouth College with his advisor working as a postdoc. Meanwhile, he worked with a team of engineers and biologists at a start-up company in China funded by his advisor for the commercialization of the microfluidic screening system for cancer detection. He is currently a Research Scientist at a start-up company in Chicago. His main research is focused on the development of the microfluidic device for electroporation. During this talk, he will share his experience in those start-up companies.
